Mrs. Sam is the owner and director of Leaps Ahead Learning Center. She has worked previously in a childcare center and operated a family childcare business for two years before opening at our current location. She received her B.A. in Psychology from UMBC. She also has 30+ credits in elementary education, her 90 hours in preschool and 45 hours in infant/toddler certification, Medication Administration training, CPR/First Aid, SIDS training and special education courses. The center is located in the previous Ascension School building where she attended grades 1-8 and is very close to her heart! Mrs. Sam is available anytime for questions, concerns and comments! She believes that teachers, parents and children work together to reach the best possible outcome. The center is her dream come true and she is so excited and proud of every child and family that comes through our doors! She spends most of her extra time growing the business and spending time with family and friends.
